Kedarnath temple committee criticized it after the video of him proposing in front of the temple went viral. Not only this, a complaint was also lodged with the police. Police said that action will be taken against the concerned couple. Raveena has taken the couple’s side questioning the police action.
Sharing the video of the proposal in front of the Kedarnath temple, Raveena wrote, “Since when did our God turn against the love and blessings of the devotees? These devotees just wanted to make those moments sacred. Perhaps the western way of proposing is safer. Roses, candles, chocolates and rings. This is really sad. Two people who wanted to come together just wanted to seek God’s blessings and action is being taken against them.”
Netizens have given varied reactions to Raveena’s tweet. You can even get married in front of God. One wrote, “But these people did all this just for making videos, not for blessings.” Another user asked, “If you can get married in a temple, why can’t you propose?”
