Unpaid Salary, PT Panarub Workers Ask Messi for Help During Indonesia vs Argentina Match

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Indonesia vs Argentina match which ended in the defeat of the Garuda squad left many stories behind. One of them is the efforts of PT Panarub Industry workers to demand that their wages be paid.

The worker unfurled a protest poster during the Indonesia vs Argentina match which took place at the Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (20/6/2023).

This was uploaded by the Secretary General of the Association of Indonesian Trade Unions (GSBI), Emelia Yanti Siahaan via her Twitter account @emelia_yanti.

In his poster, the worker asks Lionel Messi for help to talk to Adidas and ask to pay his salary.

“Messi, help us!! Talk to Adidas to pay our wages,” wrote the poster brought by the worker as seen from the Twitter account @emelia_yanti, Tuesday (20/6/2023).

In her next tweet, Emelia Yanti stated that the female worker was not attending SUGBK to watch the Indonesia vs Argentina match. The worker is present at a joint cost from his colleagues to convey their aspirations.

It was emphasized that the workers did not demand anything from Messi. The workers, he said, only asked Messi for help brand ambassadors Adidas to represent the voice of PT Panarub Industry workers who make products for adidas.

“Is the message wrong??” tweeted Emelia Yanti.

It turned out that it was not only the women workers who carried out this action. There were a number of spectators of the Indonesia vs Argentina match who did the same thing.
