Welcoming League 1 Season 2023/2024, Persib Squad Training Begins Early June

– Persib Bandung plans to start holding training in early June 2023 to prepare for the 2023/2024 League 1 season.

Persib coach Luis Milla will take one month to prepare the team.

“Persib will start pre-season in June and for one month prepare for the new season,” said Milla as quoted by Persib’s official website.

Maung Bandung, nicknamed Persib, has been on vacation since mid-April 2023 or since League 1 2022/2023 ended. Even though they were closed for more than a month, the players were still equipped to carry out an independent training program.

The plan is for the 2023/2024 League 1 kick-off to roll out in early July 2023.

Meanwhile, midfielder Beckham Putra Nugraha admitted that there was no problem with Persib’s training plan in early June. According to him, he can still take advantage of time with his family after returning from Cambodia to defend the U-22 national team.

“Of course there is quite a bit of time to rest, there is still time off because the new team plans to gather on June 5 and can still gather with family,” said Beckham.

So far, Beckham is ready to stare at the new season. Even though he is on vacation, he continues to run an independent training program.

“Holidays are mostly just with family at home so after that I’m ready to return for the new season,” he said. ***
